I had this bike a little over a month now and I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase on the Yadea Trooper 01. Really great cruiser and commuting bike. The looks of the bike is absolutely amazing. The lights are perfect for night riding with the high beamed front light and the response time of the brake lights is awesome. Overall I am very happy I purchased this bike and would love to see this bike get a 2nd version in the future!
I really like the trooper 1, it’s a good bike. I think there should be more parts for the bike, like if someone crashes and wants to buy replacement parts for the bike.
Due to bad luck and hardship I decided sell both of my cars and invest in a e-bike and learn the bike trails to commute to work to see how much money I can save. I did a lot of research online and was looking for a more moped style e-bike. I was looking for something that offered good value and performance. I had two finalists which was the Trooper 1 and the Meelod DX Pro. The DX pro was on discount and was leaning towards that offering a 2nd battery and two motors but I got a email from Yadea and offering the Trooper 1 at a discount that would be the same cost as the Meelod DX pro. I pulled the trigger on the Trooper 1 because research showed Yedea as a more established company and the bike ships basically fully assembled. Bike shipped fast and on time. Putting the bike together was pretty easy. Getting acquainted with the bike was pretty easy. I’ve been commuting 10 miles total a day and so far the bike is performing well. It does well on hills and inclines. Pedaling is good for me being 5 foot 7 to get some exercise and longer battery life. Range so far is pretty good traveling 20 miles and still having some battery life between half and 1 bar left before recharging it. Probably the only thing I could recommend is I tried to change the speedometer to miles and in the process I accidentally changed a setting where I lost the use of the throttle. The manual offered no information on the menu settings. I lucked out and found a You Tube review where a guy went through all of the settings to make sure everything was right and the bike worked normal again. I would recommend maybe if shipped in the U.S. changing the speedometer to M.P.H. but other than that I am impressed with the Trooper 1. Kind of like my former car situation I kind of want to get a 2nd e-bike in case one needs repairs. Maybe a 2nd Trooper 1 could be in the cards? Thanks for the discount and a quality product.
