Converting Video to MP3: Convenience or Risk?

  • Many users are looking for ways to save audio from videos for offline listening. Special online services and programs allow you to extract sound and save it in a convenient format. This seems like a great solution, especially when you want to listen to podcasts, lectures or music without the need for a constant Internet connection. However, this approach also has its downsides: possible copyright issues, the risk of infecting your device with malware and loss of sound quality during conversion. What do you think about this? Do you find such services useful or do you prefer official platforms for listening to audio?

  • I think extracting audio from video is a really convenient way, especially when you need to listen to lectures or podcasts on the go, but there are some “buts”. Copyright issues are, of course, an important aspect, because many materials are protected, and it is not always possible to use them legally. There is also a risk of running into malware. Personally, I prefer to use official platforms, such as Deezer. They have quality content, legal access and no unnecessary risks. Plus, there is always the option to listen offline, which is also very convenient!
